General Notes
1. Read this manual thoroughly before attempting any work on the gearbox.
2. Prior to beginning work on the gearbox ensure that a clean tray is in place to catch any oil and in which to place all parts.
3. Thoroughly clean all parts and visually inspect before reassembly. Replace any worn or damaged components with new parts.
4. Always use new nuts, washers, O-Rings and oil seals when rebuilding.
5. Always lubricate all bearings with a small amount of oil during reassembly, never fit new bearings to the gearbox and leave dry before running.
