Elite Racing Transmissions was incorporated in January 2003 to bring high end, low cost racing transmissions to the US club racing market.

Lee Williams, CEO and Director of Engineering at Elite has many years of experience working with racecar transmissions having worked at all levels from Formula Ford to Formula 1. The experiences gained during these years have enabled Elite Racing Transmissions to design and supply cutting edge gearboxes to the club racing market by incorporating many of the features found in contemporary Formula 1 transmissions.
